Loryn joined NGAB in 2025, shortly after settling in Montezuma County following seven years on the road doing conservation work across the country. In her role with the Access Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to leading and inspiring the climbing community towards sustainable access and conservation of the climbing environment, she collaborates with communities and oversees field teams engaging in stewardship projects and outdoor education throughout the lower 48.

Drawn to the Southwest for its rich cultural heritage and abundant opportunities for hiking, climbing, and fly fishing, Loryn is passionate about fostering community values rooted in stewardship and land conservation. She believes that the more chances people have to engage with the outdoors and learn about the landscapes around them, the more deeply they will care about protecting them.
