Eric was born and raised in Connecticut spending his childhood enjoying the outdoors, studying maps and on a few occasions visiting family in Cortez. After receiving a degree in Architectural Engineering from CU-Boulder, he has spent his career in the wood truss component industry and works as a software training specialist.

With Southwest Colorado being his favorite place, in 2019 he moved from the Front Range to a ranch in Mancos together with his wife, dogs, and horses. Along with his sister, he owns a dryland farm in Lewis held in easement by MLC which his grandfather bought in the 1930s.

Conservation has always been important to Eric and his family which makes him honored to serve on Montezuma Land Conservancy’s board. In his free time away from the house he likes to ski, mountain bike, camp, and above all else fly fish.
