Changing lives through land conservation by connecting people to place, forever.
What We Do
MLC is more than just a traditional land trust. While working to protect important landscapes in Southwest Colorado, we also work to engage our community in our mission and bring the benefits of land conservation to as many people as possible.

Colorado Gives Day is Here
Support MLC This Season of Giving
Now through December 8, your gift can go even farther.
Every gift made through MLC's Colorado Gives page now through Dec. 8 is boosted by a $1M+ Incentive Fund. That’s why Colorado Gives Day is a perfect moment to consider a new or additional gift to MLC.
Monthly giving gets an extra boost right now, too. Colorado Gives Foundation will match the first $100 of any new monthly gift you set up during this time through our CO Gives campaign page, as part of a $250K matching pool across all participating nonprofits. The sooner you start your new monthly giving to MLC, the better your chances of getting us the match.
