Sagebrush Salon: Land Use & Energy

Join us on Sunday, August 17 for another Sagebrush Salon hosted by MLC’s Next Generation Advisory Board. The Sagebrush Salon is a semi-monthly casual conversational gathering to discuss interesting media relevant to MLC’s community-centered conservation work in Southwest Colorado.

On August 17, the focus of our discussion will be the podcast episode from Volts titled “A Clean Energy Transition That Avoids Environmentally Sensitive Land” featuring guests from The Nature Conservancy discussing their Power of Place initiative, available online at this link or on podcast streaming services. This will be an accessible space for those who wonder about the possible paths to a resilient future in the places we love.

Weather permitting, we’ll meet on the outdoor patio of Mancos Brewing, or move inside if need be.
